Normanby Dental is a general NHS and private dental practice in Redcar and Cleveland — and the host location for the Teesside Urgent Dental Access Centre. The second job shapes the first: running urgent care every week keeps the whole team sharp, which is why our routine dentistry is careful, calm, and done properly.

Two funding routes, one team
NHS and private patients see the same dentists in the same surgeries — only the paperwork differs. We're open about which route fits what you're asking for.

Pain comes first
As the Teesside UDAC host we keep slots back every single day for urgent dental problems. If something hurts and you can't get seen elsewhere, we know what to do.

Plain language, published prices
NHS bands and our private fee list are printed in plain English on this site. If your treatment will cost more than the visit, you'll know before the chair reclines.

Nervous patients welcome
Longer first-visit slots for anxious patients are the norm, not an upgrade. We'll go at the pace you need and talk through what happens before we do anything.
